At the Nishimeya factory, we offer guided tours and crafting experiences.
Located next to Hirosaki City, Nishimeya Village serves as the gateway to Shirakami-Sanchi, a World Heritage site known for its vast beech forests.
We invite you to visit this rich natural area and take part in a one-of-a-kind BUNACO crafting experience.
We offer a variety of plans, including the full-fledged "Crafting Experience Plan," where participants create a 24cm bowl, and the introductory "Mini Crafting Experience Plan," where participants shape a smaller 15cm piece.
Challenge yourself to create a unique, original BUNACO product.
The café adjacent to the Nishimeya factory features interiors decorated with BUNACO lighting and tableware.
Enjoy locally sourced menu items, such as Mont Blanc desserts made with Nishimeya ingredients, as well as pizzas and other lunch options, perfect for a midday break.
The shop inside the Nishimeya factory offers a wide range of products, including new items and limited editions that are only available here. Feel free to stop by.
Nationwide shipping is available.
For groups of 10 or more, factory tours are available by reservation. The Nishimeya factory was renovated from a former elementary school building.
Enjoy not only the craftsmanship of artisans but also the unique atmosphere and displays that reflect the building’s history.
Note: Self-guided tours for the general public ended in March 2023.
*Factory tours are now included as part of the crafting experience plans.
